  1. At first glance, "Tastes Like Chicken" just looked like a bunch of chocolate feti on a circular pedestal with a set of teeth. However, after analyzing it, this piece has a satirical and a slightly disturbing meaning to it. To me, this piece conveys a cavalier attitude to self-destruction in society. The babies on the sides of the pedestal are kinda like sonograms and how they show them growing. As they move up towards the top of the pedestal, like they are getting ready to be born, they are eaten at the top by teeth. In a way, this shows how society is "eating" the progeny, which causes the downfall of society itself.
The presentation of this piece was overall done pretty well. I found that even using the circular pedestal helped get the idea across. In a way, it looks more like a pillar. This pushes the thought that this piece is being monumented and should be taken seriously, but it's satirical because it's monumenting society's destruction. One way to help this piece would be to clean any of the unwanted chocolate drips, or to even reverse it so that the drip is upside down. That way, it seems more like the babies are moving upward.
