At first glance, Jen's sculpture appears to be just a menagerie of casted gummi condoms, and chocolate dildos juxtaposed in a glass vase. Upon, further exploration one can see the intricate detailed theme of sex and dating, whichs stems from the pieces ability to alude to a bouquet of flowers that a male would give to a female when attempting to "come into " her life. It is certain that a rather obvious statement is being said with Jen's choice of material for her castings. Chocolate and gummi's are a delicacy that many would indulge in, but the shapes of her castings set a limit or even an audience to who she is trying to capture. Altogether I thought the sculpture was a creativly interesting piece that touched areas of concern for any person new to the dating scene.
