  1. Sweet Tooth's Downfall is an edible and literal result of what one can go through if they do not take the advise of their local dentist. Eat too many sweets and one must visit the unfriendly consequences of decay, surgery with tools (caramel drill), and eventually under extreme circumstances your teeth will crumble and seise to exist at all. All that you will be stuck eating will be a messy liquid sugar mess to satisfy your sweet teeth (rather lack of teeth) craving through a straw.

Sweet Tooth's Downfall consists of a tooth, white chocolate and dark chocolate, connected to a caramel drill linked together with a dark chocolate chain. The piece has slowly started to melt (some more quickly than others), recently discovered as intentional. It is a time piece that strongly shows the results of gorging on chocolate and all around sweets. The tooth itself is actually quite large compared to the drill that was in actual life size. This factor in size was intended to represent all teeth with one tooth rather than just one small natural specific tooth.

This piece is represented in a very literal perspective which was intended because of it's sort standing-life. One must be able to achieve the message of this piece quickly and fully by the time the piece collapses and melts.

It is questionable how the sculpture should be presented. The pedestal seemed quite small for such a sweet tooth fiesta! A table with a white table cloth might be more suited for this piece to enhance even further the edible factor of this piece.
